Author and Artist Deborah Phipps is a self-

trained artist and writer.  She has written and

illustrated the Hanna Krusher series, which is a

four book science fiction series.  She works 

primarily in oils and has recently also created

digital media and mixed media.  She has been painting since the age of 13 and began by primarily painting landscapes and portraits.  She later transitioned to more conceptual and surreal pieces.  She has exhibited in smaller venues in the Los Angeles area.
